Pictures of Himalayan Mountains, esp. the Mt. Everest (8848m)

The Himalayas have the highest mountains on earth. Everest with its 8848m is the highest mountain but is surrounded by many other 8000s and even more 7000s. Mountains with a height less than 5500m are not considered mountains in the Himalaya and therefore don't have a name. One of the most beautiful mountains in the world is the Ama Dablam (6856m), but the only mountain a climber gets recognition for is climbing the Mt. Everest. The day we reached base camp was the first and so far only day this year, where climbers made it to its top. 77 People summited on May 14.
